Joe has been in love with books since he was a kid hiding under the sheets with a flashlight reading SciFi. He worked as a bookbinder at Taurus Bookbindery in the Bay Area and later struck out on his own as Robertson Journals and Cactus Pony Books (selling in Reading Frenzy, Powell’s, and small galleries like LunarBoy and BlueBottle Gallery). He interned under John Hansen at WaterMark Bindery. Joe also worked at Elliott Bay Book Company and Reading Frenzy as a bookseller. Currently, Joe runs a small book-shop pop-up in the ground floor lobby of Big Pink (US Bancorp Tower) at SW 5th and Burnside. Come say hi and get some reading recommendations. :)
